lt has been used in the Type A new and B Nambus, Type 14 Nambu and Type 94 pistols, Tokyo Menu Model 1927, Type II device gun, Hino Komuro Meters1908 Gun and the Type 100 submachine weapon. It uses 8.2 mm (.320') bullets. Energy is fairly low, with military loads building about 280 L (200 feet·pounds), equivalent to the Us.380 ACP and significantly weaker than modern military ink cartridges such as 9×19mm Parabellum,.45 ACP, and 7.62×25mmichael Tokarev.
Like nearly all of the Imperial Western weapon designs of that era, manufacturing of 8 mm Nambu ammunition ceased after the end of Planet Battle II, as the weaponry that fired it had been eliminated from support. Some small-scale manufacturing (primarily using remanufactured brass) provides happened in the United Areas, but handloading is certainly more common among owners of 8 mm Nambu pistols. New manufactured brass and copper plated lead bullets (.320') are usually now obtainable through HDS. Reloadable situations might be produced from.40' Samp;Watts, but this would require swaging the situation heads down from.424' to.403' in a hydraulic push. A regular reloading press would rapidly be destroyed by this kind of procedure.
The Japanese Army ink cartridges in 8 mm Nambu possess no marks on the héadstamp unlike the Japanese Navy ink cartridges.
